Unicafes Alagoas, headquartered in Arapiraca, in the western part of the state, aims to support cooperatives in developing their economic initiatives and in expanding and consolidating cooperativism in family farming and the solidarity economy. The institution promotes the social inclusion of its members by coordinating economic initiatives that broaden job opportunities, income distribution, food production, improved quality of life, biodiversity preservation, and the reduction of inequalities.

Mission

To be an instrument for family farmers, aiming at sustainable development through support actions for its members.

Scope

It currently represents 17 cooperatives that integrate the credit, marketing, production and service sectors.

Assistance and advice on financial, administrative, accounting and legal matters;
Defense and guarantee of rights;
Promotion of training courses;
Support for the marketing of products.
