Unicafes Espírito Santo (ES), headquartered in Vitória, was established in November 2005 at an assembly held in the city of Viana. Its objective is to represent cooperatives of family farmers, promoting sustainable development. Unicafes is a private legal entity and is a non-profit organization.

Mission

To make cooperativism a popular instrument for sustainable and solidarity-based local development of family farmers, articulating economic initiatives that expand job opportunities, income distribution, food production, and improved quality of life with a social, political, cultural, and economic focus.

Scope

There are 20 production cooperatives and one credit cooperative, with approximately 10,000 members present in 34 municipalities in the State of Espírito Santo.

Services

Marketing of products from members;
Acquisition of supplies for members;
Technical assistance;
Credit promotion.
