Unicafes Brasil celebrated the signing of the approval agreement for the work plan of the Coopera Mais Project, with an investment of R$ 10 million, marking an important step forward in strengthening family farming cooperatives and the solidarity economy throughout the country.
The signing took place during the opening of the National Meeting of the Mais Gestão Program, held in Campinas (SP), with the presence of Minister Paulo Teixeira, the Secretary of SEAB/MDA Ana Terra and the president of Unicafes Brasil, Fátima Torres.
The investment strengthens strategic actions aimed at developing cooperatives, focusing on expanding production, accessing markets, and generating income for family farmers.
Furthermore, the project plays a key role in strengthening the management of cooperatives through training and advisory actions, contributing to improving the organization, enhancing production processes, and expanding the capacity to operate in the territories.
This initiative reaffirms Unicafes Brasil's commitment to building public policies and structuring projects that boost cooperativism and promote the sustainable development of family farming.
With increased investment, training, and organization, cooperatives remain one of the main tools for transforming realities and strengthening the Brazilian countryside.
