Unicafes Rio de Janeiro was founded on July 4, 2008, in the city of Rio de Janeiro, encompassing various branches of cooperatives. Its headquarters are located in downtown Rio de Janeiro, and it has representation throughout the state.

Mission

The main role of Unicafes Rio de Janeiro is to represent its members in all relevant sectors.

Scope

Currently, it represents 10 cooperatives, including 1 state-level cooperative, 1 labor cooperative, and 8 agricultural cooperatives.

Services

Contributes to the technical advisory process;
It assists in the planning of cooperatives and in the development of projects;
It conducts training and mentoring courses in various settings.

Partnerships

Technical Assistance and Rural Extension Company (Emater-RJ), universities, municipal governments, parliamentarians and councils.
