Unicafes Santa Catarina, headquartered in Chapecó, in the western part of the state, was established to provide visibility and serve as an instrument for representing the interests of its affiliated cooperatives. Created on July 28, 2006, it represents cooperative organizations in Family Farming and the Solidarity Economy and promotes discussions for the formulation and implementation of public policies related to cooperativism and the sector's development processes.

Mission

To make cooperativism a popular instrument for sustainable and solidarity-based local development for producers and family farmers, articulating economic initiatives that expand opportunities.

Scope

It currently represents 66 cooperatives that integrate the segments of credit, marketing, production, services, housing and labor.

It offers marketing channels for products from family farming;
Credit cooperatives;
Management and governance of cooperatives;
Innovations regarding the marketing of products by cooperatives.
